I grew up on the Illinois River in Peoria (IL) and moved to the East Coast when I was 18. Prior to pursuing a life long interest in photography, I was in the boating magazine business in New York and Newport.

Boats, the sea, and their beauty have been in my bones forever, in 2013, I joined the world of aerial photography for the perspective it brings to seascapes and coastal scenes. They also save this 74 year old a lot of walking.

I now specialize in aerial, portrait, seascapes, and classic yacht photography. I use Canon products only and DJI only for sky work.
